Plays On Word Theater and Plays On Word Radio exist to illustrate Scripture and illuminate its truth through immersive live performance and global broadcast. Through original music, dramatic storytelling, and Spirit-led teaching, we transport audiences into Biblical moments — awakening hearts to the love, power, and provision of God. From sanctuary stages to digital platforms streaming in 92 countries, our mission is simple:

2025: 30 performances • 2024: 20 performances during the start of our transitional years • 2023: 60 performances including 10 performances throughout Albania • 2022: 47 performances including 6 performances throughout Albania • 2021: 25 performances (lost 1st quarter due to covid) • 2020: 2 performances (covid) • 2019*: 24 perfomances

Audiences have ranged from 6 in a living room to several hundred thus far. Over the span of God's ministry, Plays On Word has ministered during hundreds of performances to well over 10,000 people!

*Although performing since 2014, plays tracked after becoming an official nonprofit in 2018. Audience numbers tracked since 2022.

— CURRENT FUNDING —

IT'S A FAITH WALK — Funding comes from our monthly partners, play performance donations and merchandise we’ve designed/ created, as well as an end of the year fundraiser. Since we don’t charge for performances but will accept a love offering if a church/ community has it to give, our donations at play performances vary immensely. Merchandise sale margins are minimal as we try to keep price points reasonable. Our goal is to ultimately become 100% funded, in order to effectively continue the work of this ministry. Presently, our main funding comes from those monthly and yearly partners that send us out as in the early church. We have 24 monthly donors and are currently only 31% funded on a monthly basis.
